Six steps. No surprises, no mystery pricing, and almost nothing asked of you. This is the exact process we ran for Junipero Coffee — each step carries its receipt.
The terms don't change from client to client, and neither do the steps. Here's the whole operation, with what each step looked like when we ran it — on the clock, start to finish.
Tell us about your business — a short form on our site, or a text. We come back with a full proposal packet: the scope, the price, the terms, all of it priced and in writing. Fast.
What you do: fill out a short form, or send a text. That's it.
For Junipero: full proposal packet in the owner's inbox the same morning as the inquiryThe packet includes three complete design directions for your business — real looks, not mood boards. You pick the one that feels like your shop. That's the design we build.
What you do: pick one of three.
For Junipero: chose Morning Light out of three directionsA plain agreement, and a money rule that never changes: half at signing — that books your build — and half only when the finished site is in front of you and you've approved it. Monthly care starts only on launch day, never at signing. On the Junipero run that was $2,500 for the setup: $1,250 at signing, $1,250 on approval, care at $400 a month from launch.
What you do: sign, and send the deposit. Ask every question first — you'll get straight answers.
For Junipero: two billing questions asked, straight answers given, signed the next morningWe build the site to the design you picked, tested the way your customers will actually use it — phones, desktops, menus, forms, orders. You get a live review link, and the site is delivered to you personally, by the owner, for your approval. The balance isn't due until you say it's right.
What you do: nothing. Watch it happen, if you like.
For Junipero: built and delivered the same day it was signedLive with the site, walk it like a customer, then send your notes. One full round of revisions is included in every build: your notes become the site, and we send it back for your eye.
What you do: send one list of notes.
For Junipero: four owner changes — plus a sunrise film in the hero — done under a day, back and forthYour site goes live and care starts that day — that's when the monthly clock begins, not a day earlier. If you have a store, it's your store: orders land in your own inbox, and your customers can always find their way back to your website.
What you do: run your business.
For Junipero: two test orders ran end-to-end that same weekend; the owner was emailed for each one"This is my operation. This is how we work — and we don't work any other way."
Within five to seven days, we can build an e-commerce site for you all the way through. The only thing we'll need from you is setting up your payment processor — that part is always in the owner's hands.
